I have been working on web design/development since around 2001. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to experiment in many areas – from table layouts and IE6 CSS hacks to modern CMS. By now, I have completed dozens of projects, many of which have unfortunately already passed into the digital graveyard.

Anyway – take a look at my latest projects.

Slow Green Thing – my third band – Stoner Metal! It was clear from the beginning that a website was a must. The first version was built in the summer of 2014 without a CMS, and a bit later, I switched to a CMS version (Redaxscript). In 2019, I finally made the move to WordPress, and since then, everything has run smoothly. The site has been redesigned twice since then, each time to align with the release of a new album.

Extraprint from Saxony is a printing company for special occasions – that’s how I would describe it. I got involved with the project back in 2013, when it was focused on a UI soft relaunch. About 8 years later, we took the next step, this time with a complete relaunch based on VueJS – although I mostly worked with CSS and some markup. Still, it was quite a complex task – the layout had to be implemented based on mockups.

Morbus Maximus! Nothing else. A metal festival in East Saxony like no other. Every time, it features a strong lineup. The festival is held almost every year, and for the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of maintaining the website.

Karsten Richter. Noisepoint. Geschmiertes. All of this is art from Bischofswerda, legendary! I first created the website back in 2013 using the Redaxscript CMS. In 2021, the site was finally relaunched on WordPress. It’s looking great now!

I joined this project in 2014 as a pure UI frontend developer. Later on, there were a few small JavaScript tasks to handle, but for the most part, I was responsible for the UI and CSS. Between 2020 and 2022, there was a second attempt at a UI relaunch – the website was finally redesigned to be fully responsive.

I’ve known Holzi – Stefan Holzhauer – since I worked with Big Fat Shakin. A fantastic drummer, I should mention – College for Music Carl Maria von Weber Dresden. Anyway, the task here was to create a simple yet functional website that Holzi could manage himself. Of course, WordPress was the obvious choice.

Even a gardening club needs a website. I had the opportunity to redesign the website for our gardening club, Birkenhain e.V., including the logo design.

WordPress is often the first choice for smaller projects, and it’s commonly used by small and medium-sized businesses and organizations. The same applies here – for Dr. Augustin, a doctor based in Pirna.

Red Wave – my first band. Initially punk rock, later progressive rock. Well, a website was needed here too. I first built the site around 2004. The latest version was released in 2015, based on Redaxscript CMS (RIP).

Big Fat Shakin is a rock ‘n’ roll band from Dresden and the surrounding area. I’ve worked with the guys and gals on several levels – from the website to flyers, even video productions. The website is now quite old, but it’s still beautiful and functional.
